The estimated wait times posted on our website for the Urgent Care Clinic are exactly that … ESTIMATED. And there are a number of factors that can extend or shorten that posted wait time.
After you register, another patient may present with acute chest pains, or an actively bleeding laceration, or an onset of breathing difficulties / allergic reaction, etc. These getting bumped to the top of the list and any one or a combination of these would take a physician out of a regular patient cycle and bump the wait time up.
A physician may be called away to the hospital … the wait time goes up.
Wait times will drop if patients choose to leave before their time is up and they fail to notify reception.
Wait times change throughout the day – every day and all day. Keep checking our website for regular updates.
Remember you can always call 811 and speak with a health care professional.
